Drum Battery Problem Maybe

Postby daleb1011 » Mon May 03, 2010 12:28 am

Hey i was wondering if anyone could help.
basically mid play with the ghwt drums for ps3 all of the controls will stop working pads cymbols and the console buttons. The pad is still on and connected as i dont get a message to reconect controller. The only way ive found to fix it is to remove the batteries and put them back in this fixes it straight away and the drum will work for 2-3 songs. thinking it could be to do with the battery holder or maybe something inside the control unit.

any help or ideas would be great

Hi Daleb1011

I don't think we have heard of your issue before but as you are not getting the 'Please reconnect controller' message on the screen that would imply that the connection between the PS3 and the controller box on the drums is still working.

If this is the case and you still have the correct lights on the controller box to show it is still getting power then I would suggest that your problem lies within the controller unit on the drums - this is one of the only complex things about these drums and as they are not expensive I would suggest that it would be a lot easier to just replace this box and save yourself the endless hours of trying to find the exact cause of the issue.

If you need a PS3 controller box just ahve a look in our Parts Store and feel free to post again if you need any more help.

Thanks
