Problem with Connection Controller

I just bought DJHero the other day and I'm having trouble connecting it with my PS3 (fat). Usually with like guitar hero, you plug in the USB connection and press the PS3 button on the guitar and it works but its not working with DJ Hero.

I obviously put in new batteries and plug in the USB Dj Hero Sensor but when i press the PS3 button, nothing connects. The only time the turntable controller turns on is if I press the PS3 button with the 'select' button.When I turn if on with the 'select' method, if I press the 'start' button, the lights will change from player 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to all four being lit up.

I tried to follow the tutorial given with the game, which tells me to press and hold the flashing red light on the sensor then press the PS3 button on the turntable controller but this doesn't work either.

Hi Thanks for coming to the forums

I am not a PS3 owner unfortunatly, so may not be the best person to ask about this but I understand it is a common problem with the PS3 - getting things to connect properly. I do know that the way you are supposed to do it is load the game disc FIRST, then put the dongle into the usb port on the PS3, turn the turntable controller on by pressing the ps3 button and all the lights should start flashing quickly to show it is looking to connect to a dongle, then you press and hold the button on the dongle and it searches for the controller.

If I have missed anything there hopefully someone will pipe up and correct me.

I have a ps3 slim and dj hero.

I think i did press the button on the dongle when i first got it, i haven't had to since, and it works and connects great by just pressing the ps button. Even without DJ hero in the built in console buttons work just like a PS3 gamepad. If pressing the dongle button doesn't work It sound like you might have a faulty one.

I have the turntable controller PS2/PS3 compatible and I have the same problem. The controller don't sync (I tried all the tips and instructions about it), or sync for like 3 songs and get unsync. Please if someone knows how to fix it, please post here !! Thanks a lot !!!

i too have the same issue i bought a turntable from ebay and when i got the item i could only get it to turn on by selecting the ps3 and select button. if anyone could help out that finds a solution or a fix it yourself guide that would be appreciated. thanks

i had the same problem, i bought the game brand new in USA, but i am from Costa Rica, so i can´t change the game, my problem is this, the turnatable can´t sync whit the ps3, when a press the PS3 botton all the leds flashing i press the sync botton the the dongle and nothing, so i open the crossfader unit to check is someting is wrong, i saw very poor quality in the electronic board, so i overheat all the board, and i put the batteries again and works, sync almoust inmediatly and works fine, but when the electronic board cool down loose the conection. I don´t know what component is bad, but if someone tried this and can add more info, maybe why can fix this issue, sorry for my bad english, thanks.
