I have same problem with turntable.
Rewind and scratch worked perfectly (even without random button pressing) about 2 hours.
Then my rewind won't work - it registering only from about 5th try.
And then scratch won't work at all.
Looks like problems with IR receiver or IR diode.
It will be good to have spare circuit board or just spare IR parts (but IR parts need to be identified first).

Hi and welcome to the forums

We are working on finding the right parts and right suppliers as we speak and hopefully we are only a couple of weeks away from being ready to go with them, as soon as we know anything though we will let the whole community know about it!

My scratch function still not work.
Checked IR diode and it works.
You can view IR light when you look at it using display of digital camera or cell phone camera in real time.
Diode is emitting light.
Then problem lies in IR receiver or even in microcontroller.
But still chances that there is problem in small resistors or capacitors, and even less, than in bearing.
This is strange, that scratch functionality slowly dies and not cease to work instantly.

Hi sasha_spb_ru

Welsome to the forums, nice tip about using a cell phone camera to view the IR diode i'll have to check that out sometime!

We are currently investigating the programming in the chip to see if that is having an effect on it, its all complicated stuff but we havesome top men on it we just have to wait and see what they come up with.

I have this same problem. I can cross fade and hit keys but my scratch doesn't work. It worked at first and now it doesn't at all..

Return it under warranty if you're able to. Sent mine back on Tuesday afternoon for rewind problems, came home today (Friday) to find my replacement deck has been delivered. That's impressive service taking into account their returns label is 2nd class :D

Wow that is pretty good, especially when you consider this service is costing them money not making it. Yes it would be nice if we didn't have to return them but if you have to it's good to know you won't be without it for too long.

Thanks for posting

I opened up my turntable and noticed the yellow wire is still connected to the movable portion, but is disconnected from the base. Does anyone know where it connects to? I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere online.
