Awesome DJ Hero LED turntable mod!

So, since I got this game I thought "Ya know what would make this controller way better? LEDs."

I literally had no wiring experience before I decided to actually put lights in my controller. I had to learn everything from scratch. Initially I just put blue LEDs under the turntable, which looked very cool, but I felt it needed more. When my buddy's gf bought him DJ Hero for his birthday, she commissioned me to put lights in his turntable as well, which inspired me to put some more work into my own turntable. His favorite colour is purple, so he got purple LED's under his platter, and I added the strip of diffused plastic and blue LED's to the front of mine while I was working on it. Pictures really don't do them justice, as its hard to get proper lighting without the pics being blurry as anything. In the dark, the platter has a solid ring of coloured light around it, and it looks wicked.

I'm really hoping that other people out there have done some mods to their turntables. If you have, post em up!
